| The campground offers a variety of campsites, some in secluded treed areas and others on the open beach. The majority of sites have a picnic table and a fire pit and a garbage container. Some sites have electrical and water hook-ups. A dumping station is available at no cost for registered campers. There are fifty-one (51) serviced sites and sixty (60) unserviced sites. There is also a day picnic area located on the beach. Permits can be purchased at the Ranger Station between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. daily. Permits expire at 2:00 following the last day of validation. If you wish to stay longer you may do so by pre-registering at the Ranger Station prior to 2.p.m. All visitors to campsites must register at the Ranger Station. Fully serviced sites include electrical and water hook-ups and the use of the dumping station. Swimming is available in an unsupervised swimming area. Potable water is available, the water quality is checked regularly by the government department of health and the latest results can be seen at the Ranger Station. |
